If you clicked on "videos" thinking you were accessing my video library that has over 1500 aerial videos, revealing my entire aerial curriculum, sorry! These are just my personal videos for fun (some highlights from my early days of aerial, around 2005-2008). But you can check out the massive video library at www.aerialdancing.com, which continues to get updated!

Silver Dress Piece at AerialWorks

Castle Rock Morning

The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. I just had to get up and dance. Susan Murphy gave me the skirt that I am wearing in the video. It added to my inspiration and I channeled her trapeze energy. :)

Dancing with baby #2

This is my therapy. Dance is so healing for me. It's such a great way to celebrate life. And this video obviously celebrates the little man in my life. Aren't those feet cute?

Pregnant with Number 2

While pregnant, I've been working a ton on my aerial yoga curriculum. I'm creating a ton of content for AerialDancing.com and having fun working with sequences, full length class and finding my favorite poses while pregnant. After one of the photoshoots, I made this fun video.

The Ground-Air Experiment

I am very curious about the study of comparing aerial dance with ground dance. In order to explore these dimensions, I decided to put them side-by-side. It was hard finding moves that fit both genres simultaneously, and I'd like to continue this kind of exploration in the future. (That's why I labeled it number 1 - I'm hoping to revisit this idea and create more ~ we'll see.)

Be Still - Corde Lisse

This video was made in 2013 to celebrate the beauty God has placed here in Charleston, SC. View here: http://youtu.be/j6TQgA9Zdig

Duo Hoop at the Beach

I don't go to the beach here in Charleston as much as I wish I did! But here's a time when Julianna and I did get out and go while we were working on the hoop books. Almost all of these moves are covered in great detail within the pages of our manuals.

Performance Montage 2013

I had the fun of working with Revolve Aerial Dance and the Wonderson Duo at a festival in Greenville for the past two years. I put together a montage of our fun times performing.

A Peaceful June Day

I put this piece together after a very peaceful day in the trees. This was one of my first days back on fabric after the birth of my daughter in 2011.  Please go here to view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFAVVFbTjns

Ana's Dance

The first dance I want to highlight here is of one of my past students, Ana. It is a dance that we did in one of our knot classes, and I really like the way Ana does it. It's a very calm piece. Many students struggled with slowing it down enough, but Ana finally conquered it. When you are in the mood for something peaceful, take a look at this video: Nice work Ana!

Russia

Here I am in Russia with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, gathered to worship the creator of Dance. This was a performance I did at an orphanage to encourage the kiddos. :)

Gone Away - Aerial Fabric Solo

Landon (same guy singing in Russia video - totally blessed to have him singing live for another performance). This fabric solo was performed at Besant Hill School of the Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca in October 2008. It was somewhat improv - I just put it together last minute, and I was so glad Landon came to do live music so that it felt like worship, and could go anyway it went. I had to cover for a few mistakes, but it was still a performance I enjoy.

Inspired by Sunlight

I made this for fun, inspired by pictures I took (camera on a timer) one day when the sun was streaming in and just gorgeous. Please go here to view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7VdOpWx2MU

The Duet (of knot and static tissu)

I like to think of this piece as a duet between the knot fabric and static tissu (french for fabric by the way). I think both techniques are lovely in their own way. When I first took these videos it was just for the process of checking my technique and to brainstorm choreography. Afterwards, I liked the footage, and thought why don't I make another youtube video with this footage? I love this song of Shawn McDonald. This was one of the first videos I make and put on youtube in 2008.
