From Where I See it

Pictured to the left is my view during rehearsal. It's a beautiful sight to me. The symphony orchestra was composed of some of the finest musicians I've ever heard, lead by a conductor who was a wonderfully accommodating, and a very whimsical character. He spoke with a thick Italian accent, and I loved to watch him conduct the symphony during rehearsal. It was such an honor to create dance pieces to the music of this symphony.
Afterward, we received high praise on how our movement enhanced the music for the audience, which was wonderful to hear. We created a custom artwork of 7 pieces. We were pushed to our limits in many ways, but we pushed through and created an evening of beauty. It was worth all the sweat put in! The video above includes some snippets of our evening. I got to spin around on Spanish web with a big jingling skirt. The skirt made so much noise when I was on the ground with all the clanging pennies on it, but it so much fun to twirl in the air.
